The Goo Goo Dolls - the best band currently in existence (in my opinion). Lead singer and guitarist John Rzeznik (guy in the middle) is truly brilliant.

 Ilhan Mansiz, striker for Turkey. He has cool hair, almost scored an overhead kick and is generally more attractive than the rest of the Turkey squad, which is enough to gain my respect  I realise this is sad and very unlike me but I REALLY REALLY FANCY HIMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!! *cough* |

MEEEEEE TOOOOOO!  This is terrible. He's a sportsman, for pity's sake! During Turkey Germany my heart leapt every time he got the ball and I would think "Go Mansiz!" And during Turkey Korea he scored twice and I was so happy for him! And during half time Gary Lineker and co kept going "Ah, Ilhan's having a great game" and I would just grin and grin, and at the end of the match I kept thinking "film him!" He reminds me a bit of Toby Slater. |

 Ignore the bloke on the left. Paul "PD" Heaton, singer songwriter with The Housemartins and The Beautiful South. Writes fantastic lyrics - some of them are very black comedy, others are social commentary full of pathos. Has a BRILLIANT singing voice, very souful. Cares about people. Wrote most of "Hull 4 London 0" which is one of the greatest albums ever ever ever. |

 Jimbob Morrison, singer and lyricist with Carter USM - possibly *the greatest* of early 90's indie bands (Stone Roses eat your heart out) and unfortunately forgotten by most people. I nominate Jimbob for similar reasons to PD. His lyrics are full of witty wordplays, puns and acerbic black humour, but often carry a gritty social message. He cares about people, and fights against injustice and corruption. Very few people can write pop songs about bitter war veterans, dodgy landlords and violence against the homeless. |

Dave McKean
An amazing artist, best known for his work with Neil Gaiman ("Black Orchid," "Violent Cases," "The Sandman" etc). He wrote and drew his own graphic novel that spread over about 600 pages, it's called "Cages." He now works exclusively with computer art, and the things he can do are amaaaaaaaazing
