I'm still convinced it was Phileas Fox. Must have been a different show.

Did anyone ever watch the Moondreamers? "You're not dreaming, it's the mooon dreamers, mooondreamers... Everything is AOK" (i think that was it ) And I loved Winzee, she had blue hair and was an artist and I wanted to be just like her and... oh dear god.

I'm pretty sure I had a video of that, once upon a time.

I'm sorry but Button Moon was crap - It was made on a budget of 24p and had the most unoriginal theme tune you can imagine. I'm sure someone made it for a joke never thinking it would catch on...
Bagpuss was a masterpiece but my favourite programme when i was little was Toy Box or Play Box or something with the cat and the dog? And I always marvelled at how well the cat could draw - it must have been so hard to draw with a puppet - I can't do it.
I also liked that programme where they'd plant something at the beginning and then put it in the tree and at the end of the show it would have grown into a tree, e.g they'd plant a chocolate and get a sweetie tree..
Then there was You and Me, of course, Rainbow, the Shoe People, Poddington Peas just because of the catchy theme tune, Magic Roundabout, the Herbs, and Spiff and Hercules (no NOT spliff and Hercules...) that nobody else has ever seen. It was about a cat and a dog and used to be on before sharkey and george (which is another classic) at about 5 am. the theme tune went something like ... everything they try to do, always turns out wrong, but you gotta admit, they never quit they keep at it all day long Spiff and Hercules always on the run no matter where you find them spiff and hercules these guys are the best of friends they fight like cats and dogs...
THo' probably not in that order - that's just random parts i remembered
And wasn't there one about two troll type things that lived in a well?

Greenclaws ;D "in the greenhouse... greenclaws' greenhouse..."# they had a great song : "why is a cow's milk white, if it only eats green grass?" And wasn't there one about two troll type things that lived in a well? The Riddlers?

Yes we discovered today that it WAS the Riddlers I was thinking of after a slight misunderstanding when someone claimed it was 'The Fiddlers'...

However, the main lyrics are... "Work your cares away// Dancing's for another day..." <repeat> I always thought it was "Dance your cares away/ save worries for another day" but then i am famous for mishearing things...

I'm still convinced it was Phileas Fox. Must have been a different show. I was bored so I attempted to settle this by searching for a 'Phileas Fox' on the internet to no avail, I'm therefore assuming that you are confusing it with Phileas Fogg (from the book) and just have difficulty identifying animals... (Although there are a lot of German sites about Phileas Fox and what the hell is "het slop"?)
