I saw these guys at Reading and they were really amazing. They describe themselves as a 27-member choral symphonic pop band, which is fine by me, cos I don't know how else to describe them. They were all kitted out in white gowns, with trumpets, flutes, harps, gospel singers, and some weird electronic instrument the guy was playing by just waving his hands next to it. I would urge you to check them out, they are the musical equivalent of prozac ;D

My friend Liz wants to be in a band just like them when she grows up (but she never will. She's stuck in the wrong century, for one thing... she cooks! embroiders! goes for walks in the country! She's the Lady of Shallot incarnate)

Yup, something like that. I'm not really sure, all the songs tended to blend into one big orgy of jumping and smiling.

Ah, yes, theremins are brilliant! Dave from The Damned learned how to play so they could recreate their gothest songs in a live setting, haha.
