I keep writing long replies to this, and IE keeps screwing up, so I've resorted to WordPad...
Anyway, the CD turned out OK, but less of a summer CD than I expected. I wanted it for walking to school, so I took about 15 of my favourite songs off the summer list, put in a couple of current favourites and left it at that.
The track listing is:

What makes the tape 'summer'? I always listen to the same thing each season...
Very impressive of you to do that Lauren. Not really to my taste if I'm honest, but cool nonetheless I'm sure.

Hmmm. I'm not sure what makes it summer, it just has that feel. Tenacious D and Five for Fighting blatantly aren't really summery, but the rest say summer to me. I thought at first it was light guitars, but Flagpole Sitta's quiet heavy.
I don't know.

(and, if anyone's interested, English Summer Rain is the title of a song on the next Placebo album, and Brian plays drums on it... erk...)
