I like a whole lot of music that a whole lot of people dislike, but it doesn't bother me because in my eyes the very nature of music is that it appeals to individuals, and you should always listen to the music you enjoy.

The last song I cried to was The Cure performing "A Forest" on TV. It segued from their Thin Lizzy cover and I just went "oh!" and started to cry, which is strange because that song has never aroused any kind of emotion in me.

So many songs by The Cure at the moment, because they make me think of someone, mainly Just Like Heaven and A Night Like This.

Ok, I found my "Misery Tape," track listing follows...
Side A Welcome to the Cheap Seats (The Wonder Stuff) Teenage Angst (Placebo) Somebody (Depeche Mode) Morningstar (AFI) Lever Street (Death in Vegas) Alone Again Or (The Damned) Top of the World (James) Blasphemous Rumours (Depeche Mode) Caught in my Shadow (The Wonder Stuff) Flag Day (The Housemartins) Aladdin's Story (Death in Vegas) Then the Clouds Will Open for Me (Placebo)
Side B Dizzy (Ours) There is No If... (The Cure) Tinsel Town (Feeder) Ballad of a Paralysed Citizen (The Faint) Close to the Flame (HIM) Release (Anathema) You Never WAsh Up AFter Yourself (Radiohead)
At the time I made thuis, most of my CDs were at dad's house, so I just used whatever I had lying around! The Radiohead song is from "My Iron Lung," it's the perfect one to round off this compilation, it was recorded live in a barn somewhere in the West Country I believe, it's very stripped-down, just Thom Yorke + a guitar if memory serves.

I was "flicking channels in my mind". Sorry, Feeder.
I was flickinh channels when I skipped onto Magic - feel good music channel. And they were playing "She Drives Me Crazy" by FYC. That made me cry.
Oh the memories.
