Oh dear... found the video for "Yesterday Went Too Soon" by Feeder and... Plus "Tinsel Town" (always my fave Feeder song) takes on a whole new dimension these days. Oh oh oh - "An All-American National Sport" by Carter USM. I was listening to it the other day just sobbing my heart out. It's about a homeless guy who's dreaming but gets woken up when two blokes set fire to him.

I actually made a whole CD of songs that make me cry about 5 months ago....
Lucky - Bif Naked Life & soul - The Sundays Everything You Want - Vertical Horizon Wild Horses - The Sundays Iris - Goo Goo Dolls Any Day Now - Bif Naked Angel - Sarah McLachlan So Like A Rose - Garbage Close Your Eyes - Christophe Beck Run - Four Star Mary If God Will Send His Angels - U2 Acoustic #3 - Goo Goo Dolls Homeward - The SUndays It Doesn't Matter - Alison Krauss and The Union Stations Best I Ever Had - Vertical Horizon Nothing But You - Kim Ferron Dark Sky - Four Star Mary Name - Goo Goo Dolls Drive You Home - Garbage
What can I say? I'm a sucker for sappy love songs and the like, it's just one of my many quirks, as Lizzie would say.

That reminds me of my "Misery Tape." I can't find it, so this isn't an accurate track listing, but it includes...
"Teenage Angst (95 demo version)" - Placebo "Then The Clouds Will Open For Me" - Placebo "Lever Street" - Death in Vegas "Aladdin's Story" - Death in Vegas "Release" - Anathema "Ballad of a Paralysed Citizen" - The Faint "Alone Again Or" - The Damned "Dizzy" - Ours "There is no If..." - The Cure "Morningstar" - AFI "Close to the Flame" - HIM "Somebody" - Depeche Mode "Blasphemous Rumours" - Depeche Mode "Top of the World" - James "You Never Wash Up After Yourself" - Radiohead
And a few more I can't think of right now... I'm sure I've got another song by The Cure on it...

Yesterday The Cure were performing on tv. They played Love Song, which, as you know, makes me cry. They later played The Forest, which has never been one of my preferd Cure songs - yet, for some reason, it made me cry.

Sorry, I wasn't intending to sound cynical or anything.
