I bought a new bass today! It's a Fender Jazz Bass, marroon in colour (or say BLOOD RED if you prefer, bwahaha), one careful owner! Sorry, Jamjar, but you don't compare... When I play Jamjar I think "I am holding together bits of glued wood and metal" When I play my new bass I think "I am holding a guitar." I am still keeping Jam, of course, she's very precious to me. Next on my list is a Peavey Amp, about 400W, but I need to raise a lot of cash to afford it (but Aaron will sell me a 2nd hand one cheap, bless him) What is my new bass called, I hear you ask? HUNTER

Is not exactly right, but pretty close. Hunter's scratchplate is white, not black, and the body is marroon not that tomato red.

I didn't choose the colour, neither did I choose it for the colour.
Damned if I'm ever going to own an American-made instrument.

Hey, Lauren, look what I stumbled across purely by co incidental accident! (Honestly!)
"Zak And Sara"
Sara spelled without an 'h' was getting bored On a Peavea amp in 1984 While Zak without a 'c' tried out some new guitars Playing Sara-with-no-h's favourite song
(La da da da, la da da, la da da) (La da da da, la da da, la da da)
Zak and Sara
Often Sara would have spells where she lost time She saw the future, she heard voices from inside The kind of voices she would soon learn to deny Because at home they got her smacked
(La da da da, la da da, la da da) (La da da da, la da da, la da da)
Zak and Sara Zak and Sara
Zak called his dad about layaway plans And Sara told the friendly salesman that: "You'll all die in your cars, And why's it gotta be dark? And you're all working in a submarine"
(Asshole)
She saw the lights, she saw the pale English face Some strange machines repeating beats and thumping bass Visions of pills that put you in a loving trance That make it possible for all white boys to dance And when Zak finished Sara's song, Sara clapped
(La da da da, la da da, la da da) (La da da da, la da da, la da da)
Zak and Sara Zak and Sara

I was just browsing some online journals, and there was an intruiging link saying "You'll all die in your cars" that I clicked on, and voila!
