I finished my exams today. Now I have no idea what to do with myself Any ideas of fun things to do in the Durham/Newcastle area?

Lucky you! I have one at 9.30 tomorrow (not bad... but it means getting to the train station when there's still a 7 in the hour)
What fun things, hmm.
You could go to the Gate or the Tyneside cinema in Newcastle to watch a film
go to the BALTIC - international art centre ^_^
Or do what I do and mooch around Trillians Rock Bar and quaff vast amounts of cidr
Or The Fishtank in Durham and support some local acts!
Sit in Vennels and wonder loudly why they never have any baked potatoes
Go to the Oriental museum
Dress up as a goth and wander around the Cathedral
Get a tent and spend the night in Flass Vale (the lil forest by the bus depot)
Go to Walkabouts on Monday and watch Karl Kennedy from Neighbours' band play!
Go for a nice, long, relaxing walk along the river
Have a picnic
Go to the Laing in Newcastle
Go to the LIFE centre in Newcastle
Go to Kathmandu near Grey's Monument and marvel at the overpriced clothes
Go to Traveling Man and spend all your remaining loan on comix
