so does alex. (bb) Ah, actually, I have to agree with that... Alex did look better with a beard. That's my one concession. (Oh... and the drummer in Parva carries off stubble, hehehe)

Consumed by the mass of beardyness. The stubble must be controlled in order to stay stubbly and to not become beardy.

I intend to grow a beard at some point. its just something that has to be done. I'm not planning on keeping it, but It just has to be done.
for most people that actually keep beards tho, it doesn't suit them eg. Som of my vitriol(I think he's got rid of it now though) or daniel johns of silverchair.

My beard thoughts:
Rivers Cuomo should not have one. No argument. I just read a thing about E from Eels, who has grown a similar beard. He says he gets stopped at airports a lot.
My dad has a beard, he's had once since he was 17. I've only seen one picture of him without it. He uses them to judge character. Beard=Good person. He wants a really long one, hermit style, but my mum won't let him:-(
When we were in New York, there were lots of Orthodox Jewish men with huuuuuge curly beards, really impressive. I don't understand how they get them to stay at the angle they do.
Modified because I turned an entire band into a person.

My dad had a beard for a little while, just after I was born. a) he had just turned 20 and was a father, so trying to grow up and be manly and b) too poor to buy razors! (true dat... when charlie was born we couldn't afford central heating and she went blue)

Like Osama bin Laden and Charles Manson? I had that discussion with him, he told me that some people use the beard for evil, to try and trick others into thinking they're good people. Which really means that beards don't always make good people... but I find it hard to argue with beard logic.
